Jeff was very responsive to all my queries (even over the weekends) and had the empty boxes delivered within 2 days upon confirming the details. What I truly appreciated was the small details whereby he even advised us to standby dehumidifier packs for the mattress that will go into storage for months. Their moving teams are super punctual (yes in fact they always reached slightly before the appointment time!), polite and extremely professional - they got the jobs done in less than 30 mins. Overall service was great, very professional. Inspection of the place was done via video call which was very... convenient. Sean was very helpful breaking down the costs for me. No extra charges were incurred which is great. The only issue I had with the move was punctuality as the movers were almost an hour late (the move was already shifted from 9 am to 2pm because the workers needed to get tested for covid that day but I was informed a week or so in advance).The actual move itself was very good. The workers were well mannered, fast and efficient. So far, all my stuff seems to be damage-free (just moved yesterday).read more

The movers are so fast and efficient that... they accidentally packed my Landlord's fan by mistake to the storage (I engaged their storage service) . When I found out, I immediately informed Damian to help retrieve out. Staff Jeff managed to retrieve and arranged Damian to meet up with me to return the fan to me. Damian went extra miles to deliver the fan personally to me at my new place on Tue night at 11pm. Super touched by their service and efficiency. Hired Vimbox to move apartments recently. The service was excellent. They provided 20 boxes that we initially... estimated. As we packed, we realized that it wasn’t enough so I messaged them and asked for 10 more boxes which they delivered within a couple of days. On the day of the move itself, they showed up on time and very quickly loaded everything onto the truck and were careful not to damage anything, then delivered our things to the new place and again carefully unloaded the truck. I thought it would take several hours but their team got everything done in about an hour. Granted our place wasn’t that big so not a lot of furniture, but still very impressive service. Will definitely use Vimbox for my next move. Very professional.read more

Booked with Vimbox Mover to moving of my stuff. The mover was one hour late from our appointment time. No one bother to... call to inform that they will be late and no one pick up the phone when we tried contacting them.When the mover finally arrive, they came down shorted handed. Only one person came down despite there being bulky item in the move. Assured me he can managed despite me asking if he alone can do it.Due to the mover not being able to manage alone, he ended up damaging the leg of my furniture. Tried fixing the furniture with cable tie and tape and expect me to accept it. Point me to the contract saying that no compensation because I did not buy the insurance. What a perfect display of professionalism. I will report you to CASE!read more

im quite disappointed as the timing given was slightly rubber. i was being told 3-4pm, however the movers reached at... 515pm.When they reached my new house, they pushed in the portable trolley and it scratched my floor from the main door way to the outside the kitchen leaving an unremovable track. They looked very rushed in sorting out the boxes.The guys are friendly and apologised for being late however, the flooring of my house has been damaged. i thought the trolley supposed to be outside the maindoor and they carried in the boxes.. Quite disappointed. There isnt any double confirmation the day before in regards to the appointment following day. I had to double confirm by giving a call at 2pm to make sure they remembered to come over at 3-4pm. This could be better by informing me earlier if the guys will be late so that i can go to the new house to unpack certain things which i can be transported by my car.read more

We were given a quotation for 1.5 lorry post assessment of our movable stuff in November 2018. On the day of the move,... it surpassed 1.5 trucks. The movers held back moving a bed and pot of plants saying that they are not supposed to move more than 1.5 trucks as per quotation. Mind you, the move was within same condo, just another building. Calls to the assessor, first the mover agreed to take the bed for additional $$, still refused to take the plants until more calls and more $$ agreed. Seems like a standard technique: give poor assessment of truckload and then hold the move to ransom demanding additional $$.read more

Although my initial list of disposed furniture is longer than the list of furniture to move, I took a leap of faith when Jonathan suggested to move those still in good working condition. I am happy to have done that as the furniture are now serving us in the same manner as they did before. Kudos to the great team (unfortunately I don't know the names of the movers) who are very professional and swift in handling my belongings.I have experienced the challenges of self-disposal and move which is totally not worth the effort. I have also witnessed the horrors of DIY folks, unprofessional movers who attempted and spoilt furniture, created more mess and headache. We engaged Vimbox twice now, once for moving and storage and another time just for a move (to the flat next... door!).Both time the team arrived very punctually they worked fast and efficiently while being as careful as possible to not damage any items. They were also respectful during the second move and were as quiet as possible as they had to work around a sleeping 8 week old. I thought that the second move was pretty simple and underestimated the number of people needed to complete the work but Jonathan, our point of contact, sent us a team who came equipped with the right tools (electric drills and cling wrap) even though we were just moving next door and everything went smoothly. My family moved with this company in August 2018. As much as the team of movers were nice and punctual. It was... disappointing to find out that The company was run by unprofessional liars. During the move from storage to a new house, the team managed to not only to badly damage the most expensive furniture but also avoid to disclose it to me. Marble table top was cracked in half and the console had deep scratches. I don’t mention little things like a mirror gone missing, ceramic frame broken, etc.Furniture gets poorly wrapped during the move, hence all these damages.What’s more shocking is the management approach to incidents. After reaching out to the coordinator Jonathan he assured me that we could get some money for compensation and the claim form will be promptly filled out. All I had to do is pay the balance. �You probably guessed what happened next.Jonathan disappeared from the radar. No answer. Bottom line. If you have nice stuff to move, don’t move with Vimbox.read more

I happened to chance upon Vimbox movers and thought I might just give it a try. Was glad that we were assigned to... Jonathan as He was very fast in response and answered to all my enquiries within a very short period of time and even when I texted the qs to him after office hours he would replied to me😊😊. I had 60 boxes from them and there were more other stuffs including fragile pieces like nano blocks and puzzles on my own . Was very happy with the overall moving process as they are definitely fast like lightning that after a while the whole house was emptied and most importantly was that NOTHING was destroyed not even a little scratch of whatsoever even on my furniture that needed to be squeeze in through the door. Also, the coordinating of various furnitures going to different locations was done smoothly without any hiccups. Movers were very friendly, helpful and careful when they were handling all my items even it were just plastic or daily neccessities . Great Job Guys !!! He was friendly, informative and thorough. He got back to me with a quotation quite prompt too. A week after the initial meeting, I told him that there will be a change in the amount of things we are bringing over. He was like,“No problem !” And arranged to came down again. On d day, the team sent over were very efficient and professional. They were careful with the furniture and took care with all the packed boxes. They all moved in a very organised and fast pace too. My house with towering mountains of boxes was emptied within hours! Over at the new place, they were very helpful in trying to place all the boxes, furniture in the correct places. In June we decided to use Vimbox for the second time and once again we were happy with their service. Our consultant,... Jonathan, was very helpful from the day of the survey and even until after the move. He attended to our queries and requests promptly. On the day of the move, Hao and his team were on site punctually and they were really fast and efficient (yet careful with our belongings!)... the first truck was loaded and was ready to go within 45 minutes. They wasted no time and made sure there were enough men to unload and unpack the boxes in our new address while the others continue to pack and load more stuff at our old place. By 5pm they were almost done (including unpacking and re-assembling of furnitures). Great teamwork! The only negative comment I have to say with the entire move was the collection of the used boxes as they only schedule it on a Sunday. And on the day they were supposed to pick up the boxes, the driver turned up a few hours late (after the 2-hour scheduled time frame) which caused a lot of inconvenience for us. Nevertheless, we would certainly use Vimbox again if we would need to move in the future.read more

Consultant---------------------------------Jonathan was the Relocation Consultant from Vimbox who was handling this relocation project for us. With years of working experiences and his professionalism, Jonathan visited my old house for an assessment of the items to be relocated and disposed of, and provided a quote to us in the shortest time. Jonathan was very understanding as he waited patiently for almost an hour before the appointment, due to my work. Jonathan is a well-mannered gentleman, has a very positive attitude, an eye for details and has shown care for my elderly parents as well. Also, Jonathan has delivered his services and provided all items to us for the relocation promptly and as promised. Thanks Jonathan.Relocation Coordinator----------------------------------A relocation coordinator was also assigned to help coordinate the admin matters wrt this project. She is very responsive in replying our queries, provided useful information in packing our stuff into the boxes and also quick to update us on the arrival timing of the relocation specialists, as there was a heavy downpour in the morning of the actual relocation. Thanks Bernice for the help!Relocation Specialists-------------------------------On the actual day of the relocation, due to heavy downpour in the morning, the services commenced at a later timing. However, the relocation specialists were very professional, well trained and extremely fast in delivering the services with exceptional quality. All of them are very approachable and passionate about their job. Also, for the disposal services of my old and super large furnitures, Vimbox's relocation specialists completed the removal of all these items in just 30 minutes, especially where the level that i lived has no lift. Very bad service, avoid at all cost. Unprofessional and liar people running the company. By bad luck I engaged them... for house movement (March 2018) and the guy name Jonathan came for assessment. Told me that it would take 2 lorry loads and hence price quoted was 600 SGD. He gave me hand written quotation which written with bad hand writing. He said that a computer-generated quotation will be sent later on the same day. The move was planned after 5 days. For the next 5 days I keep chasing for the quotation but every time he gave me some or other reason to avoid it. On the day of move the guys came with computer generated quotation where couple of items were removed from the list. They said if I they have to take any extra item it would cost extra money. Again, made many calls to Jonathan but he will never pick. Later I understand that it was done intentionally, and this is one of the modus operand to extract more money. So I paid extra money as there was no option.To my further surprise they loaded all the items in one lorry itself. Doing this job day-in day-out they know how many lorries it would take. He told me 2 lorry loads to bump up the price. If you have to engage any movers, please make sure,1. Get computer generated quotation with list of all the items (down to a stool literally)2. Get the packaging material before giving any advance.3. Check and recheck the quotation, they are expert in (intentionally) removing the items from list.4. Check with different service providers for quotation price.5. Always share your experience so that other can avoid bad experience.read more

I was assign by my company to close the retail business on 8th May. We need to dismantle the office partition, disposal... of 30+ cartons of waste materials and 40+ metal racks and also relocate of 50 carton boxes to another location. Came to my place on Friday and say will email me the quote within 2hrs,... but until now (5 days later), there's still no quote from him even though I have message him twice to remind him. I have used Vimbox twice. The first time they were fine so I was happy to use them again. The second time, most... recently, was a complete shambles and a complete nightmare. The packing was haphazard and careless with things broken stained etc. and they simply did not complete the job because they got bored and tired.They begun the packed by being very careful wrapping everything but by by the end were just putting in delicate glass items into boxes with heavy things on top of them with no wrapping. They even packed a plastic box full of food leftovers which, given they were storing our stuff for a month we were greeted with rotten fetid food when we unpacked. They somehow got an oily substance all over our dining table, side tables & our daughters art work ruining it all. Most importantly on the day they were making the move they just left at 5:30pm even though the job was nowhere near complete so I had to spend 2 full days packing up the remainder, getting go-go van vans etcThe only plus side is that the UNPACKING team were very polite and pleasantIt was an awful experience and would wholeheartedly advise anyone considering using Vimbox to look elsewhereread more

I've lived in 8 countries - this Is the first time I've taken the drastic step of reviewing my movers. But I take it as... my responsibility to warn the public! This is an unprofessional company run by amateurs. They require you to return the boxes you've used - but never tell you upfront that collection will only be on Sunday. That's apparently a company policy I've been told, but why not say that upfront then? So say you've finished unpacking on Monday (as I did) and your house is swimming in boxes for a week (because of them). They give you a time and then don't show up! Since it's Sunday, no one picks up at the office. The agent you're in touch with also is incommunicado. No one calls you to warn you about the delay. Despite having warned VimBox that I had to leave by 10.30am (the set time), I delayed my Sunday plans and waited for 30 mins. No luck. Finally I left home and 15 mins later the driver calls me to say he's arrived. So now I agree to rush back (I am that desperate to have the smell and clutter out of my house). But he says he can't wait! Not even for 10 mins! Saga continues. I contact the office next day. K explain that I'm out for the country for a week from Thursday onwards. Beware of the incompetent and rude lady on the phone. She finally reveals that Sunday only is a company rule. I ask her to bend it, she says she will check whether she can send someone on 12th Dec. I ask her to send me an email confirming either way. Lo and behold, it's 12th Dec. today, and complete silence.Their indifference to their customers is shocking. I'm sad it's come to this but no one I know will ever get their business if I can help it.read more

After doing some research, I settled down with calling Vimbox. Over the phone, the guy was very professional and... accommodating with my ever changing schedule. On the day of the move, they showed up on time and went to work immediately by shrink-wrapping and loading their truck. While they were fast, they were also being delicate with all the fragile items in the living room. Since moving house was already so stressful, I am happy that Vimbox and its crew took the pressure off my mind. Because of my OCD, I kept telling them how to pack items in a certain way and they actually listened to what I had to say. Before deciding on which moving company I wanted, I’ve done some research and admit that I was a little apprehensive in... choosing Vimbox because of some of the negative reviews it had gotten online. However, I decided to went with them anyway because after emailing 4 different companies for quotation, Vimbox was the first to call and get back to us with reasonable rates and detailed information that I was asking for. I had to move pretty last minute and had no time to wrap most of my furniture and mattress but the movers got all the necessary wrapping materials with them and did it in no time with NO additional cost. They are prompt with their replies and emails before the actual moving day. On the day itself, they were due to show up between 1pm to 3pm and I got a phone call from one of the movers that they were already downstairs at 1.30pm. The guys were all courteous and hardworking to say the least. I was worried about the heavier and bulky items getting scratched but that did not happen as the guys paid extra attention while moving.
